Healthcare

Our previous documentation states that Ninfield’s health care was covered by Hastings and Rother Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG). CCG’s have been abolished through the Health Care Act 2022 which became law 1st July 2022.

In Sussex their functions have transferred to NHS Sussex, based in Worthing, (An Integrated Care Board (ICB)), their main role is to agree strategic priorities and resource allocation across NHS organisations in Sussex. They are a partnership of organisations across Sussex and their purpose is to facilitate joint action across organisations.

In East Sussex this partnership includes 54 GP Practices in 12 primary care networks. Ninfield Surgery is part of the Bexhill Primary Care Network (PCN) along with Collington, Pebsham and Sea Road Surgery.

Bexhill Primary Care Network (PCN) will be holding an event on Monday 12th September 2022 at The De La War Pavilion for patients of the GP Practices in Bexhill to go along and meet the PCN Team.
