Wealden District Council Annual Electoral Registration Canvass 2022

The Electoral Services Team are just starting the annual canvass process to update and revise the electoral register. During the canvass households may be contacted in a number of ways, including:

• Email
• Posted A3 or A4 form
• Telephone
• Personal visit

The first contact will start this week and will be an email going to approx. 59,000 electors.

You may receive calls from concerned residents about the email they will receive over the next few days. Further emails will be sent later in the process.

The email is genuine and is part of the canvass process for 2022. The email is being sent using a service called GovNotify which is a free service that is used to send bulk emails, text messages and documents.
